The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) has announced plans to add value to retailer members attending its Trade Events with the launch of Mentorship Monday.
Open to all retailer attendees and running alongside a full day of trade show opportunities, Mentorship Monday has been created to support the growth of retailers’ businesses, their teams and their industry relationships. Through expert-led sessions, practical workshops and peer-to-peer learning, retailers and their teams will gain fresh ideas, new skills and valuable insights to help drive future success.
Mentorship Monday will deliver each attendee more than £3,000 of training value and is free to attend. In addition, each business will receive a £100 credit per attendee to assist with any incurred travel costs.
The day will start with a training session about unlocking incremental sales growth, where TH March and Goodman Bros will discuss practical strategies to drive additional revenue. Digital marketing specialist Thirty Three Percent will then share simple strategies to strengthen a retailer’s online presence. The afternoon will invite attendees to practical, hands-on training workshops with suppliers GemIQ, Icatcha, Goodman Bros, Freeform Fabrication and Thirty Three Percent.
Patrick Turner, managing director of the CMJ, said: “We created Mentorship Monday to help retailers invest in their greatest asset – their people. We hope that CMJ retailers will see this as a great opportunity to bring staff along and give them valuable training that costs them absolutely nothing.”
