Lucy Quartermaine launches charity campaign in support of International Nurses Day

Award winning designer Lucy Quartermaine launched her limited-edition Kidney collection in support of International Nurses’ Day. This campaign ran from the 12 to 19 May with 20% of proceeds being donated to NHS Charities Together.

Her limited-edition kidney collection, including a ring, earrings, pendant and cufflinks, is crafted in highly polished sterling silver studded with Swarovski crystals.

The collection was specially designed by Lucy in 2015 to support Kidney research UK.  A very personal collection for Lucy as her sister suffered for many years with kidney disease.

International Nurses day was the perfect opportunity to relaunch these designs in support of the brilliant nurses, but also the NHS and other healthcare workers who work tirelessly to help and care for us all particularly during this challenging past year.

20% of her Kidney Collection was donated to NHS Charities Together last week.

Quartermaine explains: “My sister received such wonderful care during her illness and transplant from health care staff that I felt compelled to give something back. Relaunching this limited-edition collection seemed like a creative and tangible way to give much-needed support to NHS together charity for international nurses day. I hope that the profit from this collaboration will not only benefit others suffering from Kidney disease but to help fund equipment for crucial research and medical staff.”
